- Lough Hyne. A marine nature reserve, a fantastic spot everyone who visits Skibbereen must take a look.
- Cape Clear Island. Irelands southernmost inhabited Island, a birdwatchers paradise, ferry all year from Schull.
- Sherkin Island. Ferry from Baltimore all year. Take a picnic or visit the pub on the island!
- Schull Planetarium. The only one in Ireland, be an astronomer and visit the night sky.
- Mizen Head. The most southwesterly point in Ireland and Europe. Stunning.
- Drombeg Stone circle. The most visited megalithic site in Ireland. Near Glandore, An amazing site especially at winter solstice(21/12) as the sun sets between the stones.
